(Left to right) Early Grey cake, Banana Pudding, Royal Milk Tea, Moist Choco cake |
Banana Pudding |
Taste:
I felt that the cakes tasted good, but not fantastic. The Earl Grey cream was nice with a rich earl grey scent and the texture of the cake was spongy and moist. The Moist Choco was quite well-balanced; it was not too sweet and rich. However, the cake was a little dry and it crumbles when you slice it.
The Banana Pudding was refreshing on the first bite. It did live up to its reputation! It was rich and yet not too sweet.
The Royal Milk Tea, too, was nice but was not exceeding expectations. It had a rich milky taste and a nice tea scent.
Recommendation:
The Banana Pudding is a must-try! I wouldn't buy the Earl Grey and Moist Choco a second time, but I would definitely give the other cakes a try. I can't say for the drinks because I only tried the Royal Milk Tea, but I would say it is optional since this is a cafe specialising in cakes :). The price is a little more costly than normal dessert shops in Korea. However, given its prime location and modern interior, it is definitely worth the price!
